
Authentic Tennis – Policies & Terms
At Authentic Tennis, we are committed to providing a professional, fair and enjoyable coaching environment for all players and families. The following policies apply to all private lessons, group programs, squads, holiday clinics and coaching services delivered by Authentic Tennis.
Enrolment & Payments

All lesson and program fees must be paid in advance via the available booking system or approved payment method.

Enrolments are confirmed only once payment has been received.

For term-based programs, payment must be completed by Week 1 unless prior arrangements have been made.

Failure to make payment may result in suspension of lessons until outstanding fees are finalised.
Attendance & Conduct
To ensure a positive experience for all participants:

Players should arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled lesson time.

Appropriate tennis attire and non-marking court shoes must be worn.

Players are expected to show respect to coaches, staff and fellow participants.

Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in removal from a session without refund.
We are committed to maintaining a safe, supportive and high-performance learning environment.
Cancellation Policy (Effective 1 July 2026)
As our coaching sessions operate from club courts, we are required to align with the club’s court hire terms and conditions.
From 1 July 2026, the following cancellation policy applies to all coaching sessions:

More than 24 hours’ notice: No charge

Within 24 hours of the lesson: 50% of the lesson fee

Within 4 hours of the lesson or no-show: Full lesson fee
We understand that illness and unexpected circumstances can arise. We strongly encourage clients to notify us as early as possible if they are unable to attend.
Please note: Under club court hire conditions, only wet weather is recognised as an acceptable reason for late court cancellation. All other reasons, including illness or injury, fall under the above fee structure.
Weather Policy

Lessons will proceed in light rain where courts remain safe and playable.

If a session is cancelled due to unsafe weather or court conditions, players will receive a make-up lesson or credit where possible.

Weather decisions are made by the coach and typically confirmed no later than 30 minutes prior to the lesson start time.
Safety remains our highest priority.
Make-Up Lessons & Credits

Make-up lessons may be offered for sessions cancelled by Authentic Tennis due to weather or coach unavailability.

Make-ups are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

Participant-initiated cancellations are managed according to the cancellation policy above.
We will always aim to accommodate where possible, however availability may vary across programs.
Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided for lessons already delivered.

Refunds are not issued for cancellations within the applicable cancellation windows.

In the event Authentic Tennis must cancel a session for operational reasons, a make-up lesson or credit will be provided.
Health & Safety

Participation in tennis lessons is undertaken at the participant’s own risk.

Players must ensure they are medically fit to participate in physical activity.

Any relevant medical conditions or injuries should be communicated to the coach prior to the lesson.

Authentic Tennis is not responsible for personal belongings brought to the venue.
Policy Amendments
Authentic Tennis reserves the right to update or amend these policies at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
